Murphy Newman

Lead Support Mentor & DnD Group Co-Facilitator

I am the Lead Support Mentor with Therapywell and co-facilitator of the Social Quests: A Dungeons & Dragons Therapeutic Group. I have spent the past two years providing both goal-oriented support and lifestyle support to individuals from a variety of neuro-diverse and mental health backgrounds.

From study assistance and routine schedule development to undertaking new hobbies and programs, I am motivated to ensure that children, adolescents, and young adults can participate in any activity, achieve any goal, and highlight the steps involved in developing new skills.

I am dedicated to ensuring that clients and their families are met with patience and empathy. I believe in bringing a flexible approach to sessions that promotes the client’s interests as a regular focus, and that a key point of being a mentor is being someone you can share those interests with.

In my personal time, I enjoy a mix of hobbies around both exercise and technology. I regularly visit the gym and partake in mountain walks, but I also enjoy my fair share of cinema, video games, and video editing.
